PARANOIA IS EXPENSIVE, BUT A PIECE OF MIND IS PRICELESS

     The licensed private investigators with the Nashville office of The Dillon Agency were assigned to conduct a cheating spouse investigation. The client stated he suspected his wife was having an extramarital affair with a co-worker.  The client said he was having an extra difficult time proving this relationship as his wife and the coworker traveled for work regularly, and on the trip he was calling us about, his wife and coworker were flying into the Nashville Airport and would be staying at a Nashville hotel; however, he did not know where the hotel was located.

Armed with the subject’s arriving flight information, her photo, and a description of what she was wearing, our cheating spouse investigators were able to identify our subject as she walked out of the terminal area along with her coworker and suspected boyfriend. Our undercover investigators inside the airport were able to send photos of the subjects as they followed them on foot to the rideshare area while communicating with the mobile surveillance investigators staged in the area. Following the two subjects and their rideshare driver, our investigators identified the hotel where they were staying. 

Once at the hotel, our undercover investigators followed the subjects to their rooms. After confirming the hotel and the rooms the subjects were staying in, our undercover surveillance investigators were able to get the surveillance underway.

WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS STAYS IN VEGAS—BUT WE’RE IN NASHVILLE

     The two subjects left their hotel in the downtown Nashville area on foot and walked down Second Ave. to Lower Broadway, stopping at the Nashville Hard Rock before heading over to Blake Shelton’s Ole’ Red Honkey Tonk and went straight up to the roof top bar. Once in the bar, the two talked and drank mixed alcoholic drinks.

 Since the music is loud in these bars and they are crowded, it is not unusual to see people standing close to each other to talk, and the subject and her suspected boyfriend were no exception to this rule; however, undercover surveillance video was obtained to demonstrate the familiarity between the two. While filming the two, our investigators were able to catch them displaying subtle signs of public displays of affection, albeit very slight.

  However, our experienced private investigators, having worked hundreds of cheating spouse cases throughout their careers, recognized the hand touches to be more than a coincidence.

 A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS, BUT VIDEO NEVER SHUTS UP

As the two subjects continued to drink and become more relaxed, they let their guards down, as evidenced by their continued public displays of affection. After stopping at a steak house just off Lower Broadway, the twosome returned to their hotel.  Our undercover surveillance investigators followed them onto the elevator while maintaining covert video.

 This is when we obtained covert surveillance video of the two of them entering the suspected boyfriend’s hotel room.  Without giving too many details away, our investigators employed remote surveillance tactics to monitor the suspected boyfriend’s hotel room door, without loitering in the hallway.  Almost six hours later, the subject exited the suspected boyfriend’s hotel room and returned to her room. 

Over the next two days, our experienced licensed Nashville Private Investigators were able to obtain over four hours of covert surveillance video of the subject and her now confirmed boyfriend engaging in an inappropriate extramarital affair with each other.
